Every year, from Saturday to the last Sunday in October, Aritzo hosts the Chestnut and Hazelnut Festival, which is a real fair of products from the mountains of Aritzo, which has always been known as the town of chestnuts.
The event, which is also recognized as an event of considerable regional interest, reaches up to nearly 50,000 visitors over the course of two days.
During this festival, chestnuts are cooked and offered, accompanied by the tasting of new wines and typical sweets.
For these two days the municipal administration organizes a series of cultural events under the banner of
tradition.
Various exhibitions of local and regional handicrafts , display of works of art, performances of traditional music and parades of folk groups are organized.
