The steps

The workshop lasts 4 hours and is divided into four phases:

1. Introduction to genealogical research
   

   In this phase, you will learn the basic definitions of genealogy, the objectives of genealogical research, genealogical sources, and the methodology of genealogical research.
   

   You will discover that genealogy is a fascinating discipline that can help you learn more about your origins and family history.

2. Genealogical Research
   At this stage, you will begin researching your family tree. The experienced genealogist conducting the workshop will help you gather the basic information you need, such as first name, last name, date of birth, place of birth, etc. Next, you will analyze genealogical sources together, such as civil records, military records, notarial deeds, etc., to find information about your ancestors.

3. Surname Study

4. Conclusion of the workshop
