The laboratory
The workshop is held in an informal and welcoming environment, led by experienced teachers who will put even the most timid participants at ease.
During the approximately 3-hour workshop, you will learn about the origins of Sardinian dances, their symbolic meanings and their different regional variations. You will also have the opportunity to dance together with other participants, creating an atmosphere of sharing and fun.
The program of the beginners’ workshop includes the following activities:
- Introduction to Sardinian dance: history, origins, symbolic meanings, and different regional variations.
- Learning the basic steps: the basic step, the double step, the turned step and the skipped step.
- Practical exercises: participants will have the opportunity to practice the steps learned.
