ALLAI – PALCOSCENICI D’ESTATE is a cultural project has quickly become one of the reference events in the regional territory, among the festivals with a focus on theater, music, cinema, custom and tradition.
The programming of the festival will be, also in this edition 2024, able to make the audience, whether resident in the territory of Allai, or resident in other regions of Italy or abroad, returned to Sardinia in the summer, can meet culture, theater, tradition on a stage, in a square, in front of a fountain, inside the rooms of a museum or in front of the extraordinary scenery of the tree house of Allai, the first example of a public tree house made in Italy.
In this way, the festival concretizes what Theater and live performance in general are capable of achieving, the exchange of emotions between actors and spectators, the cohesion of communities around the ritual of sharing a performance, a concert, a guided tour or a tasting.
ALLAI – SUMMER PALCOSCENICS aims to attract and approach, a spectator and a tourist who is attentive to being the recipient of a curated and thoughtful cultural offer, rather than a mere spectator of events.
As in previous editions ALLAI – SUMMER PALCOSCENICS 2024, will ensure that the consistent flow of returning first- and second-generation Allaesi will draw from a community of more than 200 community citizens.
In this sense, special care will be taken in fostering the meeting between the host and guest communities, during the workshop activities of the roots food and wine and the theater and music workshops that will be hosted in the open spaces of the squares of Allai (Piazza dei Balli – Piazza Santo Isidoro – Piazza Falò – halls of the Muso Cima).
At the same time, local receptivity will be fostered, as in previous editions, by lodging the artists, guests and audiences of the Festival in houses or in rooms of private houses found in the housing fabric
of the village, or at the agreed accommodation facilities.
