The event “Anima Mundi – The Roots” is a moment for Couslieritan emigrants to re-discover and encounter their roots in their native country.
A moment of immersion in the origins and their family stories.
But also a moment open to all.
It wants to be the rediscovery of a past world, simple and genuine made of small gestures, friendship, sacrifices, solidarity and work.
A world that is still possible to find today.
It is also a moment of encounter, between the travelers of the roots, the inhabitants of the town of Cuglieri and its new residents, those who, coming from foreign countries, have chosen Cuglieri as their home in recent years.

The event includes the following activities:

1. Roots Music.
   Traveling musical and singing events by the polyphonic choirs of Cuglieri, along the route of activities;
2. Taste and Knowledge.
   Exhibitions of local agricultural products, demonstrations, artisan workshops and
   food by artisans, businesses and villagers.
   Guests will be able to watch and try their hand at making;
3. Testimonies.
   In the splendid setting of the former Regional Seminary, written, photographic or digital testimonies held by the municipality, associations or sent by citizens, emigrants and descendants will be on display.
   It will be possible to linger and listen to the stories of those who wish to bring their testimony and discover historical facts, such as the donation of the chandelier of the basilica of Santa Maria della Neve by Couslieritan emigrants to Buenos Aires, Argentina, a fact dating back to October 1914.
   Under consideration is the organization of a conference on the theme of the event.
4. Roots and Beyond.
   A community culinary moment, with the active participation of different groups, root travelers, villagers and new residents, with the intention of having a multicultural culinary experience.
5. Discovery.
   Moments of discovery of naturalistic, archaeological heritage and religious routes.
