The Feast of the Emigrant in the village of Galtellì is an event designed to reunite with
own countrymen who emigrated during the summer vacations, it has been held during the first
weekend of August for at least 20 years with the aim of bringing together Galtellinese
emigrants and tourists in an evening enlivened by Sardinian dances sung a tenore and good food
of the local culinary tradition. A social moment of gathering and sharing
of Sardinian identity. The evening becomes an opportunity to get to know the new
generations of the children born to emigrants and hold the friendship and kinship relations,
in a festive atmosphere. Activities for travelers include workshops
crafts and guided tours.

How to get there
Located in the center of the Gulf of Orosei, the village of Galtellì in Sardinia is easily reached by car from Nuoro and the island's main ports and airports by driving along the S.S. 131 d.c.n. to the Lula-Dorgali-Orosei junction and then continuing along the S.P.25 to the slip road that leads to the village. From Cagliari is 220 km - From Sassari is 150 km - From Olbia is 95 km
